Bass of the Week: Schecter Guitars Corsair Bass

Schecter Corsair Bass

This week we’re taking a look at Schecter’s take on a thin hollow body. The Corsair comes in black or gold colors with cream multi-ply binding to drive home the old school vibe.

Its body and neck are made from maple with an ebony fretboard fitted with pearloid block inlays. The bass has two EMG TBHZ pickups as well as a 2-band active EQ. Hardware includes a Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece and a WSC KG700 lightweight vintage tuners.

Check out the round sound of the Corsair in the hands of Antoine Katz in this clip from the Schecter Sessions:

Nice looking bass. Wish you could actually gear it in the YT video.
