Solar Guitars Unleashes Johan Niemann Signature Bass

Solar Guitars has added to its artist line by announcing the Johan Niemann signature bass. The Evergrey bassist’s new axe is a take on their Type AB model and is called the AB1.4JN.
“Johan’s signature model that boasts distinctive split block fretboard inlays and EMG active pickups that include a powerful preamp section,“ Solar writes.
The Solar AB1.4JN is built with an alder body and flamed maple veneer, as well as a five-piece maple and jatoba neck. Other features include EMG PJ pickups with their BTS preamp and a Hipshot bridge. Another cool note is that it comes in B standard tuning with string gauges from .065 to .130.
