Snarky Puppy’s “Empire Central” has been on my turntable a lot lately, and it is one of my favorite records of 2022. They’ve just dropped another video from the recording session. “Pineapple” was co-written by Mike “Maz” Maher and Michael League.

During the pandemic, Roger Waters kept busy with his band by recording tracks remotely from their own homes. Waters released the tracks vis his YouTube channel, but now he’s put them together as a album called “The Lockdown Sessions.”

In a new interview with Spin, Rage Against the Machine bassist Tim Commerford revealed he’s been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Although he’s just shared this personal news, he’s been battling the disease for some time.
