Rapier Introduces The Saffire Bass
Rapier, a vintage British guitar brand that was reborn in 2021, has just unveiled the Saffire Bass. Based on the Saffire Guitar, the new four-string is built with a 31-inch scale and features a basswood body, a Canadian hard rock maple neck, and a 24-fret fingerboard with a zero fret.
It’s fitted with a pair of Alan Entwistle EWR64B dual-coil pickups, a three-way selector switch, a tone control, and a mid-boost knob. Rapier replicates the vintage feel with three old-school colors: Fiesta Red, Arctic White, and Daphne Blue.
The Rapier Saffire Bass will be available with a street price of around $595.
