Funky Blues Bass Line Inspired by Albert Collins

Today we’re playing a funky blues bass line in the key of C.

Inspired by the Albert Collins tune “If You Love Me Like You Say,” this groove combines chromatic motion and dead notes. As we move it through the 12-bar blues progression, we’ll play this groove over the F and G chords as well.

It’s the perfect vibe for any funky blues that may get called at a blues jam, so get this under your fingers and keep it groovy!
