Electro-Harmonix Introduces the Lizard King Bass Octave/Fuzz
Electro-Harmonix has introduced the Lizard King, an octave and fuzz pedal based on their Lizard Queen but optimized for bass. The company revamped the tone controls and added a Blend knob to preserve your low end while shaping your top end fuzz.
“The EHX Lizard King is a fixed-gain fuzz that is dynamically responsive,” Electro-Harmonix writes. “Adjustments to your instrument’s volume affects the amount of fuzz. Lower instrument volumes create a clear, fuzzy overdrive, while full instrument volume sends the gain over the top for ripping riff and searing solo tones.”
Further tone sculpting is had with the Sun/Shadow switch, which boosts the octave fuzz with more midrange (Sun) or leaving the clean tone unchanged and keeps a tighter fuzz (Shadow).
The Electro-Harmonix Lizard King will be shipping in July with a street price of $129.

Nate is da bomb. Really nice demo.
Wish I had known, I bought the Lizard Queen and the Switch blade pro! This is way more compact and cheaper…
