Lusithand Devices Announces the Double NFP MKII and Double NFP Special MKII Filter Preamps

Lusithand Devices has revamped its lineup once again with the Double NFP MKII and the Double NFP-Special MKII filter preamps. The company says each model has been “re-invented, re-designed, and reborn.”

Both of the new preamps have an Attack push/pull switch that boosts a narrow set of treble frequencies. The gain of the Attack is adjustable via a trim-pot on the Blend board. Another new feature is a “Q” trim pot that boosts the resonant frequency past the preset gain levels for a stronger Q.

Lusithand also devised a way for the preamps to be more efficient.

“Due to the use of new, high quality and state of the art, op amp’s, the power consumption has been highly reduced and the preamplifiers exhibit, even, lower noise operation,” they share.

The Double NFP MKII consists of two resonant peak filters (one for each pickup) that can be mixed together using an active blend control. The Double NFP Special MKII is designed for multi-coil pickups (one humbucker per string coil configuration) for a setup closely simulating Wal MK electronics.

The new Lusithand Devices Double NFP MKII and Double NFP Special MKII will be available starting September 1st with prices of $195 and $259, respectively.
