Barefaced Audio Unveils First Active Bass Cabinet – Compact Power with 200W Onboard

Barefaced Audio has unveiled the Activier One10T, which marks their first active bass cab. The new model has a ten-inch driver and a built-in power section. The “Activier” module pushes 200 watts per channel into four ohms and comes in two varieties.

“The Activier 1 is mono, so one input, one volume knob, one extension speaker out (connect up to two more 8 ohm cabs or one 4 ohm extension cab for more output),” the company writes. “The Activier 2 is stereo, so two inputs, two volume knobs, two extension speaker outs. On the Activier 2 One10(T) power amp channel 1 is connected to the internal speaker and extension speakon out 1. Power amp channel 2 is only connected to extension speakon out 2 – connect a second cab for stereo use, ideally a matching but passive One10(T).”

Other features include a rotary L-pad and a four-step HF control. Get the full rundown with this video from Barefaced:

The Barefaced Audio Activer One10T is available now with several options. It has a base price of around $1,250.
