Cort Launches Space 4: A Sleek, Headless Bass Inspired by the ’80s

After releasing the Space 5 last year, Cort Guitars has expanded its intergalactic bass lineup with the Space 4. The new four-string model “continues its exploration into new frontiers with improved ergonomics, a headless design, and lightweight performance,” the company states.
The bass, which takes its cues from Cort’s headless line of basses in the ’80s, is crafted with a soft maple body, a poplar burl top, a seven-piece neck, and a roasted maple fretboard. Electronics include a pair of Bartolini MK-1 pickups and an active/passive preamp with a three-band EQ.
The Cort Space 4 will be shipped at a price point of $749.99.
