Fender’s Player Plus Series kicked off last year, and the company has just unveiled a new four-string in the line that shakes things up. The Player Plus Active Meteora Bass features a radical offset body shape fitted with two humbucking pickups.

The Fender Custom Shop has unveiled their Annual Collection for 2022, including two basses, as well as the launch of the Prestige Collection which has a one-of-a-kind masterbuilt bass.

Fender has unveiled the Mustang Micro, a super portable amplifier for guitar and bass. The tiny unit plugs into your instrument, then you plug in your headphones to start jamming.

Fender is celebrating their 75th anniversary with a few limited edition basses, but the iconic brand’s three-quarters of a century will also be documented in a new book, “Fender 75 Years”, written by Dave Hunter.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Fender, and the company is celebrating with a special series of instruments to commemorate the occasion. The lineup includes Jazz Bass and Precision Bass models.

Fender wrapped up 2020 with the introduction of the limited edition Boxer Series. Made in Japan, the lineup includes a Precision Bass model that comes in Sherwood Green Metallic or Torino Red.

After replacing the American Standard Series with the American Professional Series in 2016, Fender has unveiled its next generation of instruments. The American Professional II Series builds upon the range through several years of player input.

Last year marked the first-ever bass-specific pedal from Fender, and now they’ve revealed another for later this year. The Trapper Bass Distortion is a modified version of their Trapper that features two distortion circuits.
