Scary Goldings sent us the first single from their upcoming album, and it’s a killer song by a killer lineup. That lineup includes MonoNeon, John Scofield, Louis Cole, Larry Goldings, Jack Conte, and Ryan Lerman.

We’ve been waiting all week for the premiere of this Ghost-Note video, from their Live Acoustic Sugarshack Session. In this one, they perform their original tune, “Weedie B. Good”, and as usual, MonoNeon lays down the groove. Funky, as always!

I’m always psyched when a new Ghost-Note video drops. This one premiered yesterday, with the band performing a live acoustic set for Sugarshack Sessions. Here’s the band, with MonoNeon on bass, performing “Swagism”.

MonoNeon has released a new “director’s cut” video of his song, “Invisible”, which is on his latest album, “Supermane”. Among the many things he does on the track, he lays down the groove on a 2-string bass!

MonoNeon has been a part of many great videos in our archives, but this one is extra special. “Jamming with my grandma today. I grew up listening to her sing this song in church. ‘Oh, When I Come to the End of My Journey’”, he shared.

Mononeon is getting the year started on the right foot with the release of “Banana Peel on Capitol Hill”, an album he describes as “comedy, allegory, and funk in a 25-minute package.”

We first met MonoNeon at the 2010 NAMM Show. We didn’t know a lot about him or his music at the time, but once that changed, we were fans for life. MonoNeon had a busy year in 2020, and readers responded. That put him at #7 on this year’s list.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Zildjian LIVE! video series, but this is the one I was hoping would happen. In this clip, the legendary Dennis Chambers joins Ghost-Note (with MonoNeon on bass). This one is so great. Even the false start is great!
