Darkglass Electronics has expanded their lineup of bass amps with four new combos this year including two analog models and two digital models. Each amp type has two configurations – 2×10? and 1×12? – while all four models are rated at 500 watts.

EBS announced the ClassicLine 212 Mini-tower bass cabinet at the 2024 NAMM Show. The new cab is fitted with two 12-inch drivers in a compact enclosure. It is rated at 500 watts and is described as a perfect complement to the EBS Classic 500 head.

Ashdown has unveiled the OriginAL EVO Mini Bass Head, which they say meets the demands of modern bassists with simplicity and sonic excellence.

HeadRush has unveiled two new full-range flat-response cabinets with the FRFR MKII 108 and 112 powered speaker cabinets. The cabs, which work for guitar or bass, are rated at 2,000 and 2,500 watts, respectively.

Jad Freer Audio has announced the Volta, a new all-tube bass head that the company calls the pinnacle of its sound and philosophy. The amp was developed at the behest of endorsing artist and Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott.

Aguilar Amplification has a tradition of releasing limited edition colors each year, and they’ve just unveiled their latest creation. Rather than a single product, though, they’ve added several color options to much of their lineup.

Boss has added a new model to their Katana amp series with the Katana-Air EX Wireless Amp. The new desktop amp, which is suited for bass or guitar, builds on the lineup with 35 watts of power.

EBS has revamped its Session 30 bass combo for 2023 with the Mk3 edition. The 30-watt combo is now fitted with a tweeter to complement the 8-inch driver.

Ashdown has reintroduced the CTM-15 all-tube desktop bass amp for 2023. The low-wattage amp delivers 15 watts of tube tone in a compact enclosure that now includes built-in load and headphone outputs for silent use.

Ampeg has launched a new line of bass amps and cabinets focused on modern style and features. The Venture Series includes three heads and five cabs.
