Flower Pedals has released the Castilleja Phaser pedal. The four-stage analog optical phaser has digital controls for the best of both worlds. It has two different voicings: one similar to a Phase 90 and one similar to a Univibe.

Tech 21’s Bass Fly Rig is being updated for 2021 with version 2. The multi-effects floor unit has a built-in 3-band EQ, chorus, octaver, fuzz, compression, and – of course – the company’s SansAmp preamp sounds.

Mile End Effects has unveiled the DTYCEYP, aka the Don’t Think You Can Escape Your Purpose, fuzz/preamp pedal. The unit is an homage to the Univox Super Fuzz of the 1970s, which was used on Yoo Doo Right’s first LP of the same name.

Matthews Effects has announced a new MIDI controller pedal called The Futurist, which they call a better way of experiencing MIDI. The compact unit features just four switches, though it’s built for flexibility.

Glou-Glou FX has unveiled the Loupé, a creative stereo looper and delay pedal. The unit, which is the company’s first digital creation, is described as “flexible, musical, and interactive.”

Aguilar Amplification has added a new model to their ultra-compact line of pedals with the DB 599 Bass Compressor. Housed in a yellow chassis, the mini unit has a simple control layout with a knob for gain and a knob for compression.

Sinobas Amplification produces a healthy line of bass cabinets and cables, but now they’re also getting into the world of pedals. Their first stompbox offering is the Boost BT-1, a “mean and clean” boost designed for the bass guitar.

Eventide has unveiled the Ultratap Pedal, which marks the third model in their dot9 series. The multi-tap delay pedal offers “ rhythmic delays, glitchy reverbs, huge pad-like volume swells, and expressive modulated effects in a compact form.”

Fuzzrocious is adding a new pedal to their lineup with a cute name and a monstrous sound. Li’l Fella is a compact and highly versatile overdrive/distortion/fuzz pedal that began as a new version of another of their models.

Damnation Audio has unveiled a new distortion pedal for bass players. The company describes the Curmudgeon 2 as a “solid-state power amp distortion that takes your incoming signal, multiplies it by 1000, and slams it into a simulated power amp.”

Carl Martin has unveiled the next evolution of their Octaswitch with “The Strip,” which they call the smallest and most advanced version yet. The effects loop pedal brings the same features as its predecessors while adding versatility.

After releasing a beta version last month, Source Audio has unleashed the Ultrawave Multiband Bass Processor. The company calls the pedal a “flexible multiband processing toolbox”.
