The metal titans in Slayer have announced a new round of concerts as part of their farewell tour. The new North American leg will be the tour’s fifth leg overall since they announced the world tour in January.

Bassist/vocalist CJ Ramone has gotten into the spirit of the season by releasing a new two-song EP called Christmas Lullaby. Available digitally or on vinyl, the album includes the title track plus a cover of The Kink’s “Father Christmas.”

After announcing a new album in October, the Claypool Lennon Delirium has revealed the second track from the upcoming LP, South of Reality. “Easily Charmed By Fools” is everything you’d expect from Les Claypool and Sean Lennon: awesome, quirky bass lines and a psychedelic vibe. The band has also announced a North American tour.

David Bowie’s famous set at the Glastonbury Festival in 2000 is now available in a live album and concert DVD. The new release compiles the full show for the first time featuring loads of Bowie’s hits. The package also includes never before seen footage. Jimmy Haslip has been staying busy this year. After releasing an album with the ARC Trio, he’s now teamed up with pianist Otmaro Ruíz and percussionist Jimmy Branly for a new record called “Elemental.”

The Winery Dogs have announced the “Who Let The Dogs Out” tour for 2019. The trio – which consists of Richie Kotzen, Mike Portnoy, and Billy Sheehan – is scheduled to hit the U.S. in May.

Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan has revealed he’s putting the final touches on a new solo album that is set to be released in the coming year. Produced by Shooter Jennings, the record is inspired by McKagan’s experiences touring with the reunited Guns N’ Roses over the last few years.
