Our friend Marcelo Yakko sent us his latest video, and it is a great take on one of his favorite songs. Marcelo covers The Police’s “King of Pain” using three basses to create a spectacular all-bass arrangement.

Justin Meldal-Johnsen brings loads of old school tone to this SNL performance of St. Vincent’s “The Melting of the Sun.” Armed with a Hofner and a keen melodic sense, his playing perfectly supports the song’s direction.

Wolfgang Van Halen’s long-awaited Mammoth WVH album is releasing in June. He just dropped a new video of one of the tracks, and it is impressive. The multi-instrumentalist made the video fun too.

Evan Marien x Dana Hawkins are back with a new music video for their song, “Kyoto”, which features Aaron Marshall from Intervals and Julian “J3PO” Pollack. I love how this duo has evolved, and the sounds they’re creating with this project.
