For many years now, we’ve had a great holiday tradition, thanks to Steve Bailey. Steve sent us this year’s Berklee Bass Department holiday video. This year’s Mashup features Steve along with Bakithi Kumalo, John Patitucci, and Victor Wooten.

Thundercat took part of the Adult Swim Festival last month. During his set, he was joined by Ariana Grande for a performance of the bassist’s tune, “Them Changes.”

Just in time for the holidays, Pomplamoose has recorded a mashup of Vince Guaraldi’s “Christmas Time Is Here” and “Linus and Lucy” from “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” And for an extra holiday treat, Nick Campbell is on double bass. Grab a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy.

Any time I see a new video from Berklee Indian Ensemble hit, I stop what I’m doing to watch it. This clip once again features vocalist/bassist Sharon Renold with the Ensemble, performing her original composition, “Aakash”.
