It has been a while since we’ve been able to feature Viktor Lorincz. But he’s back with another killer video, and this time, he’s adding even more impressive work to his music.

Artists from around the world celebrated International Jazz Day 2020 the only way we can right now, with individual broadcasts from their homes and studios. Marcus Miller participated with a song he’s been working on, entitled “Havana.”

I stumbled upon this video this morning, and I was completely knocked out. The REO Brothers is a Filipino band composed of four brothers, including bassist Ralph Otic. In this clip, the brothers absolutely nail The Beatles’ “Penny Lane”.

Stuart Clayton published a great new bass line tutorial video and transcription featuring a true legend of bass. Check out his tutorial on Larry Graham’s line on the Sly & The Family Stone tune, “Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin).”

Irist has just released their debut album, “Order of the Mind”, which is already one of the year’s must-hear metal albums. Today we’re happy to premiere a playthrough by the band’s co-founder and bass juggernaut, Bruno Segovia.

Dirty Loops is back with a new video and a new tune. “Rock You” once again features the trio of keyboardist/vocalist Jonah Nilsson, bassist Henrik Linder, and drummer Aron Mellergård, who are joined by other musicians on the track.

Whenever I see a new video by Cory Henry and the Funk Apostles hit, I stop what I’m doing to check it out - especially to hear what Sharay Reed does on the tune. Here’s their performance of “In The Water.”
