Viaceslav Svedov is back! He said this he hasn’t posted a video since 2015, and we’ve missed him. In this new video, he broke out his Music Man StingRay 40th Anniversary “Old Smoothie” bass to perform what he calls “Nasty Funk.”

Mai Leisz has just released a fantastic new single called “Skies Above Salkantay,” which features guitarist Mike Landau, drummer Gary Novak, and her husband Greg Leisz on pedal steel and guitar. The track is accompanied by a beautiful music video.

We’re all dealing with the effects of self-isolation, even our bass heroes. John Patitucci just shared this new solo bass song, “Peace At Home,” which he just wrote during our current pandemic.

Tim Lefebvre shared this clip of his last performance in Europe before he had to leave for the States earlier this month. “Don’t Be Scared” begins with a free jam including otherworldly sounds from Lefebvre. They then kick in to a groove and build in intensity.

Nenad Vasilic has released a new video to accompany the beautiful song “Ti bi hteo pesmom da ti kazem” from his latest album, “Bass Room.” The song is a Serbian ballad of unrequited love.

A few days ago, Jambase shared this video of Prince performing at The Aladdin in Las Vegas. In this clip, Prince and his band - which includes Rhonda Smith on bass (and backing vocals) - perform the Led Zeppelin hit “Whole Lotta Love.”

Federico Malaman always knocks us out with his videos. In this clip, he doubles up to perform a stunning cover of the Ney Conceição tune “Resposta.”
