Theo Katzman is gearing up to release his next album, “Modern Johnny Sings: Songs in the Age of Vibe.” He’s just released another track, “Like A Woman Scorned,” featuring his Vulfpeck bandmate Joe Dart on bass.

Here’s another great clip from Simon Phillips’ Little Big Beat Studios sessions, featuring Ernest Tibbs, Greg Howe, and Otmaro Ruiz. “Phantom Voyage” is one chill tune from the drummer’s “Protocol 4” project.

Michele della Malva is helping us get into the holiday mood with a video he just shared with us. Check out this performance he named “Jingle Funkin’ Bells” (with a little bit of "The Chicken" thrown in).

Relix just shared an epic clip of Gov’t Mule with Gregg Allman, Trey Anastasio, and Derek Trucks performing “Soulshine” at The Jammys in 2002. Gov’t Mule’s bassist Andy Hess was on the set, though the camera operators did their usual thing.

Adam Ben Ezra has released the second single from his upcoming album, “Hide and Seek.” “Deeply inspired by Richard Bona and other African music elements,” here’s the tune “Tumbada.”

Our good friend Julie Slick shared a fantastic (and beautifully shot) new video by her band, Echotest. The tune, “The Drift,” is from the band’s second album, “Le Fil Rouge.”

Olivier Babaz just released a new album called “Fragments.” “C.lymao” features Babaz rocking the double bass and kalimba at the same time with percussionist Patrick Graham similarly managing several instruments.

If you have some time on your hands today, you’re in luck. Joe Dart made an appearance at Berklee for a bass clinic, and we now can watch the full event. Joe talks about Vulfpeck, music, playing with drummers, and plays throughout.

It has been a while since we’ve shared a video by Or Lubianiker. Thanks to our friends at BassTheWorld, we have a new one to check out. In this clip, Or is joined by banjoist Avital Tamir in a performance of “Deus Ex Makineta.” The combo is incredible.

Aaron Gibson’s “Horror Films and Sunday School” was among my favorite albums released in 2019. For years, Aaron has matched his incredible music with incredible videos, but this one might be the best one yet.

Zander Zon and Tommy Lee Depp got together for Zander’s “Pandora’s Bass” series, and put together quite a video. This one features not only some incredible tapping but also some great musicianship by both.

Ivo Schot has released a new video in his “Fortheloveofbass” project, and it seems like it will be the last one for a while. The series created amazing collaborations with vocalists featuring Schot providing all the harmonic content on his bass.
