Once again, Fabio Meridiani caught our ears with this performance of “The Sync”, a cool and funky solo bass piece from Fabio’s album Subline 2.

Facebook friend Matt Lewis shares this video of Stephen “Thundercat” Bruner performing “Daylight”, at The Echo in Los Angeles. This performance was part of Thundercat’s record release party, celebrating the release of the bassist’s solo debut, The Golden Age of Apocalypse. Thundercat has also performed with Suicidal Tendencies since he replaced Robert Trujillo in 2002.

People (us included), really really dug the last video we featured by the Tedeschi Trucks Band, thanks in big part to the awesomeness of bassist Oteil Burbridge. So cool to see these guys back in the day, performing Chick Corea’s “Spain” following a Downbeat Reader’s Poll Award for Corea. The band includes Corea’s RTF bandmates Stanley Clarke on double bass and Lenny White on drums, along with Hubert Laws on flute, George Benson on guitar, and Bill Watrous on trombone.

Esperanza Spalding leads this beautiful performance of “Wild Is The Wind”, filmed live in San Sebastian in 2009. The tune is from Esperanza’s Chamber Music Society. This one has it all.
