Carvin Introduces Vanquish Series Bass Guitars

Carvin Vanquish Series BassesCarvin has unveiled a new line of basses called the Vanquish Series, which the company calls a “radical departure from traditional bass guitars.” Available in 4-, 5-, and 6-string versions, the new model is built with a beveled body for comfort and a 5-bolt neck for increased body/neck contact.

Standard features on the series include an alder body, a tung-oiled maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium-jumbo frets. Each bass is fitted with a Hipshot A-style bridge and Carvin 20:1 tuners. The pickups are a pair of radiused-top humbuckers matched with an 18-volt active/passive preamp.

Vanquish basses are made in the U.S. and can be ordered with custom specifications. The basses can be finished in an array of colors including two new options: Deep Nightburst and Translucent Moss Green. Carvin’s Vanquish Series basses are available for order now with prices ranging from $1,029 to $1,179.
