Royal Blood Announces Dead Company – Shares New “Ten Over Ten” Music Video
Royal Blood has returned with a new single and video for “Ten Over Ten,” giving us our first taste of their upcoming fifth studio album, Dead Company.
Royal Blood has always felt like a bass player’s dream band. Mike Kerr handles vocals and bass while Ben Thatcher handles the drums. That is it. Somehow, the two of them manage to make everything sound absolutely massive.
It took me a while to figure out what bass Kerr is playing in the new video, but it appears to be a Rock N Roll Relics Thunders Bass. It is a cool looking instrument and the model is a 30.5 inch short scale bass with a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The band also used the new single to announce Dead Company, which will arrive November 13th. The album is Royal Blood’s fifth studio release and the followup to 2023’s Back to the Water Below.
