Coheed and Cambria Welcome Zach Cooper as New Bassist
Nearly nine months after parting ways with Michael Todd, Coheed and Cambria have announced Zach Cooper as their new full-time bassist.
Cooper, who played with AM to AM, got a cold call to audition from the band’s manager.
The group made the announcement with a YouTube video introducing him.
Coheed and Cambria is currently in the studio working on the followup to 2010’s Year of the Black Rainbow, and will be going on tour this summer in support for Iron Maiden.
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
