Billy Sheehan Shreds on Mr. Big’s “Live From Milan”

After releasing Defying Gravity last year, Mr. Big hit the road to support the album. Now a new live album has been released from that tour called Live From Milan, which is available in several formats.

The tour featured all four original band members including Eric Martin, Paul Gilbert, Billy Sheehan, and Pat Torpey, although the drummer had been battling Parkinson’s Disease by the time of the trek and shared duties with Matt Starr. Sadly, Torpey passed away shortly after the tour in early 2018 making this one of his last performances with Mr. Big.

Besides songs from Defying Gravity, the band was performing hits from throughout their career. Sheehan and Gilbert also take time for face-melting solos in the set. Check out Sheehan and the gang tearing through “Colorado Bulldog”:
