Hal Leonard Launches Digital Books Streaming Service

Hal Leonard Digital Books

Hal Leonard has launched a new platform called Hal Leonard Digital Books, which the company says is “designed to provide musicians of all instruments and skill levels with a fully-interactive, multimedia experience” for hundreds of their most popular titles.

The new streaming service works across both desktop and mobile devices. It allows for video, audio, and play-along tracks to be embedded into the book in context. The company also says each title has an auto-resume across devices, a quick search function, note taking and bookmarking abilities, and at-a-glance chapter information.

There are several of the publisher’s bass method books already in the streaming service, including Ed Friedland’s Bass Method series, Scott Barnard’s Bass Hanon, and Jon Liebman’s Bass Chops. The bass books start at $12.99.
