Harriet Tubman: Live on KEXP
I know I’ve said it many times before: KEXP is such a great source for great music. But this performance might be my favorite.
Harriet Tubman visited the KEXP studios on January 21, 2020. KEXP just released these videos on June 1st.
The only problem, I couldn’t decide which of the 4 videos to share… so I’m including them all.
I love the whole band, but I especially love the bass work of Melvin Gibbs.

Great performance! Thanks for sharing. Sophisticated and very emotional at the same time. Each musician there has it own sound yet it all glues together really nice.
