Lakland Introduces Skyline 44-OS and 55-OS Basses

Lakland has expanded its Skyline series of basses with the Skyline 55-OS and 44-OS. The new instruments are versions of their 44 and 55 models with offset body shapes and a few different specs. Each is fitted with a pair of Bartolini MK1 Split Coil Pickups as well as a Bartolini HR-5.4 AP preamp, complete with a three-position midrange switch. They’ll also feature black hardware.
Four and five-string versions, respectively, the 44-OS and 55-OS are built with ash bodies, maple necks, and either maple or rosewood fingerboards. They are shipping now with street prices of $1,150 for the Skyline 44-OS and $1,185 for the Skyline 55-OS.
