Linus Klausenitzer: Bass Playthrough of Obsidious’ “Iconic”
Last year, three members of Obscura left the band and formed a new group called Obsidious. The band is anchored by bassist Linus Klausenitzer, who wields a mighty six-string fretless. They’ve just announced their debut album is mixed and nearing completion.
“Working with producer V. Santura was a pleasure as usual,” the bassist stated. “After several weeks in the studio, we are extremely proud of the result. This album is a beast that should be unleashed in the first half of 2022.”
More details will be shared soon, but until then Klausenitzer has shared a bass playthrough of their first track. “Iconic” is the first song they wrote for the new album and has killer bass lines with melodic hooks. Anyone brave enough to attempt playing it can find a full transcription on the Obsidious website.
