Chad Villar: All Bass Cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely”

Last year, we featured an incredible all-bass cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” by Victor Wooten.

No Treble reader Chad Villar recently shared his own solo bass performance of the tune.

Here’s Chad’s note:

Here’s my humble rendition of a classic tune by Stevie Wonder. I was inspired after seeing Victor Wooten play his own version of this beautiful song. Trying to work on soloing/improvising over chord progression. It’s really hard creating beautiful melodies; phrasing and I tried really hard to make it sound soulful. You can call this a practice session. Forgive my sloppy playing. Hope you guys enjoy!
