Easy Music Theory: Major and Minor Triads In 3 Positions

Get ready, bass players! This is a serious bass lesson. We’re digging into triads… different positions, using our pinky, major and minor shapes, the whole shebang! Plus, we’ll practice these triads using the classic “I-vi-ii-V” chord progression to dip our toes into the concept of jazz walking bass.

It’s the perfect marriage of music theory and technique, so grab your bass and get to practicing.

Enjoy, and keep it groovy!
