Warwick is unveiling loads of new instruments at the 2020 Winter NAMM Show including the new Rockbass Corvette Multi-Scale five-string bass. It marks their first foray into the fanned fret design.

Kiesel Guitars has expanded its Vader bass lineup with five and six-string models of their multi-scale version of the bass. The new headless basses, dubbed the VBM5 and VBM6, come with lots of options.

Strandberg is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of limited-edition versions of each of their models, including the Boden Bass. Each of the instruments have specially developed finishes and hardware.

This week we’re checking out the Stellart Guitars Athena, which is a gorgeous five-string bass featuring a chambered body and neck-through construction.

This week we’re checking out a stunning Armada bass by Jillard Guitars. The bass has a multi-scale neck running from 36.75 inches to 34 inches with slanted frets to adjust for each string.

After teasing it for several days, Fender has unveiled the American Ultra Series, which they call their “most advanced” line of basses. The series is defined by new Ultra Noiseless Vintage pickups, newly-designed body contours, and faster playing necks.

Frederiek de Vette is back with another gorgeous build. The last time we featured one of her basses, it was a take on a classic Precision bass. This time she built two basses alongside each other in a “new school vs. old school” theme.

Fender has introduced two new colors to their Player Series: Silver and Capri Orange. The new hues apply to the entire mid-priced, made-in-Mexico line including the Fender Player Precision, Player Jazz Bass, and the Player Jaguar Bass.
