They’re back! After taking a week off, the bass hero trio of Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci will be hosting another free Zoom webinar. This time, they’ll be talking to some of the most revered music directors in the world.

Steve Bailey’s Berklee Bass Department Zoom Webinar is taking a break this week, but Victor Wooten is keeping the momentum going by hosting a hangout called DR Strings & Friends. The lineup is pretty incredible too.

This week’s Berklee/BassVault.com webinar is sure to get funky. Hosts Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci will be talking with Bootsy Collins, Ron Carter, Béla Fleck, and Emi SunShine in a session they’re calling “Bootsy’s Challenge.”

Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci are back this Thursday at 1pm Eastern with another special webinar. This week’s topic is “Gospel Rhythm: Bass and Drum Pioneers and Practitioners,” which will feature a who’s who of the Gospel world.

The Berklee Bass Department/Bass Vault weekly bass hang is on again with an incredible lineup. Hosted by Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey, and John Patitucci, “Solo Bass-Shed” will focus on bassists known for their solo work. The lineup includes Stu Hamm, Michael Manring, Janek Gwizdala, Hadrien Feraud, and Damian Erskine.

Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci are continuing their weekly bass hang on July 9th with a session called “L.A. Studio-Shed.” The free Zoom webinar will feature the trio talking with a who’s who of the session scene in Los Angeles.

Victor Wooten has relaunched his merchandise site, VixMerch. As part of the launch, the bass guru also unveiled a signature bass strap by Ergo straps, and a new book entitled “The Spirit of Music”.
