They’re at it again! Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten will be joined by Oteil Burbridge and John Patitucci for a Zoom webinar called “Utility Shed.” The discussion, which is a free event, will take place Thursday, June 11th at 1pm Eastern.

Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten are continuing their weekly free webinar series this Friday, June 5th at 4pm Eastern. The meeting topic is “Gender Justice…Empowerment, Enlightenment, and Education,” and as such it will include some of the best female musicians around.

Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten are continuing their Zoom webinar series this week with a roundtable of rock legends. The free event takes place tomorrow and will feature Justin Chancellor, Mike Gordon, Stefan Lessard, and Mike Inez.

The next installment of the Zoom webinars hosted by Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten is happening on Thursday. Entitled “Gadd-Shed,” the free session will feature drum legend Steve Gadd along with Ron Carter, Chuck Rainey, Tony Levin, Anthony Jackson, and Will Lee.

While the current quarantine has forced nearly every event to end, Victor Wooten and his crew have decided to take his camps at Wooten Woods online. Three of the previously announced camps will still take place via Zoom.

Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey are back with another amazing opportunity for bassists. They’ll be hosting a free webinar tomorrow entitled “Woodshed: Viral/Veterans of the Electric Bass”. The event will also include Rhonda Smith, Henrik Linder, Joe Dart, and Darryl Jones.

Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten are continuing their outstanding series of bass webinars with a new Zoom hangout scheduled for Thursday, April 30th at 1pm Eastern, dubbed “Essential Skill-sets for Success.”

Filmmaker Nick Wells has announced the followup to his popular bass documentary, “Beneath The Bass Line.” The sequel, “Turned Up To 11,” dives into some of the more outrageous gig stories and “Spinal Tap” moments from the world’s best bassists.

Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten have organized an amazing bass hang, which is happening Thursday, April 16th. The free webinar is open to the public and will feature a conversation with Megadeth’s Dave Ellefson, Tool’s Justin Chancellor, and Billy Sheehan.

Each year, Victor Wooten puts on numerous camps at Wooten Woods in Only, Tennessee for music and nature education. Registration is now open for the 2020 camps, which range from April to September.

Has there ever been a year Victor Wooten didn’t make the annual top 10 list? I don’t remember one. Vic had some exciting news to share in 2019, as well as some of his incredible videos, placing him at #7 on this year’s “Reader Favorite Bassists” list.

Last year we shared the news that Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey were working on a new “Bass Extremes” album. Now it seems things are continuing to move forward with the group as they'll be hitting the road for a week of dates in January.
