The Berklee Bass Department’s weekly hangout will continue tomorrow. Hosted by Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci, the session this week will feature “Giants of Rock” with rhythm section members from four major bands.

Each week, the Berklee Bass Department gets into all things bass with hosts Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci. Their next segment, however, will have the trio talking shop with some of the world’s best saxophonists.

The Berklee Bass Department is back again with their weekly webinar hosted by Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci. This week’s session will spotlight the “producer/bassist,” with an incredible lineup.

The world lost one of its best musicians this month when Chick Corea passed away from cancer at 79 years old. Now, the Berklee Bass Department is paying tribute to him with a webinar called “Chick Corea: Rhythm, Life, and Melody”.

Anthony Wellington is offering another astounding educational opportunity this month you won’t want to miss. “Noteworthy” is a virtual clinic that will teach you all the notes of the bass with multiple, structured ways of practicing and studying.

Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci will be offering a free webinar with fellow bass masters. This week’s discussion will feature bassists who worked with Miles Davis, including Dave Holland, Ron Carter, Marcus Miller, and Darryl Jones.

Renowned bass educator Anthony Wellington will be holding a special virtual clinic on Monday, January 11th. Entitled “The Best Ears Are Fast Ears,” the session will leave you with improved aural recognition and response time.

The holidays will be extra funky this year. Bass phenom Victor Wooten and his brothers are throwing a streaming holiday special from Nashville, Tennessee on December 19th.

Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci are back this week with a free Zoom webinar in which they’ll talk with the members of The Immediate Family. Denny Tedesco, who is making a film about the group, will also be part of the event.

The weekly webinar held by Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten is rolling on this week with a presentation featuring the entire roster of Snarky Puppy, including bassist Michael League.

Anthony Wellington has been teaching lessons for years, but lately, he’s taken up doing virtual clinics. He’s just announced a new interactive clinic. “Moving Through the Time Field” expands on topics he covered in “Victor Wooten: Bass Workshop.”

Gerald Veasley’s Bass BootCamp is one of the best educational events of the year. This year’s events, of course, took the in-person bass camp off the table. However, Veasley is pushing forward with a special virtual BootCamp on November 7th.
