Two big music cities will be coming together virtually as the Austin Bass Hang presents a special Zoom webinar. “Nashville Cats” will feature hosts Josh Hoag and Ryan Gould in a roundtable with Nashville’s premier upright bass players.

This week’s Berklee/BassVault.com webinar is sure to get funky. Hosts Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci will be talking with Bootsy Collins, Ron Carter, Béla Fleck, and Emi SunShine in a session they’re calling “Bootsy’s Challenge.”

Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci are back this Thursday at 1pm Eastern with another special webinar. This week’s topic is “Gospel Rhythm: Bass and Drum Pioneers and Practitioners,” which will feature a who’s who of the Gospel world.

The Rock N’ Roll Fantasy Camp has expanded their online masterclasses with three more bass sessions with three amazing bass players: Stuart Hamm, Tony Franklin, and Mike Kroeger. Each of the virtual classes allows you to interact with the players directly.

The Berklee Bass Department/Bass Vault weekly bass hang is on again with an incredible lineup. Hosted by Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey, and John Patitucci, “Solo Bass-Shed” will focus on bassists known for their solo work. The lineup includes Stu Hamm, Michael Manring, Janek Gwizdala, Hadrien Feraud, and Damian Erskine.

Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, and John Patitucci are continuing their weekly bass hang on July 9th with a session called “L.A. Studio-Shed.” The free Zoom webinar will feature the trio talking with a who’s who of the session scene in Los Angeles.

Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten are continuing their webinar series this week with one focused on the topic of working with Prince. The roundtable, dubbed “Prince-Shed”, will include BrownMark, Rhonda Smith, Andrew Gouche, Ida Neilsen, and Paul Peterson.

They’re at it again! Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten will be joined by Oteil Burbridge and John Patitucci for a Zoom webinar called “Utility Shed.” The discussion, which is a free event, will take place Thursday, June 11th at 1pm Eastern.

Since Rock N’ Roll Fantasy Camp announced a week’s worth of online seminars, many of them already sold out – including Rudy Sarzo’s. However, they’ve added a new round of masterclasses that will include a session with Eva Gardner.

Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten are continuing their weekly free webinar series this Friday, June 5th at 4pm Eastern. The meeting topic is “Gender Justice…Empowerment, Enlightenment, and Education,” and as such it will include some of the best female musicians around.

Despite the current pandemic, the Rock N’ Roll Fantasy Camp is moving forward by moving online. The camp has announced a full week of master classes with some of rock’s biggest names. On June 2nd, Rudy Sarzo will dole out bass wisdom as part of the series.
