Each year, the Winter NAMM Show brings the top industry talent to Anaheim, California. That includes bassists, who all flock to the Bass Bash. This year the event returns on January 16th and 17th with one of its best lineups yet.

Geddy Lee has added a trio of new book signings to his “Official (Yet Kind of Random) Big Beautiful Book of Bass Book Tour.” The “East Coast Hat Trick Leg” will see the Rush bassist heading to Pittsburgh, New York City, and Halifax through December.

Ariane Cap and Josh Cohen have teamed up to create Solo Bass Night, a performance series that features and promotes solo bass music. The concerts have their roots from an event nearly 15 years ago.

The 11th Annual Rocky Mountain Bass Slam has announced a new lineup for their headliners. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Chuck Rainey will not be able to attend. However, the slot has been filled by groove guru Cody Wright.

If you hear a rumbling in the Rockies, it can mean only one thing: The Rocky Mountain Bass Slam is back for its 11th year. The event will feature Chuck Rainey, Doug Johns, and many others.

KISS may be busy on their sprawling farewell tour for the foreseeable future, but Gene Simmons will be making time this year for an art exhibit. On October 12th, Simmons will unveil a collection of 20 of his own basses at the Animazing Gallery.

Earlier this year, Anthony Wellington announced the second ever Bassology at Sea Cruise, which is set to cover the Caribbean from November 9th through the 16th. Now he’s expanded the operation to a global level with a second cruise in the Mediterranean and “Bassology Down Under.”

The Aristocrats have announced their first ever “Aristocamp,” which is set to take place from June 18 - 21. Each member of the trio – including bassist Bryan Beller – will teaching and performing. Michael Manring is a guest instructor.

Gerald Veasley’s incredible annual Bass Bootcamp is back for 2019, and this year is promising to be one of the best yet. Bass legend Marcus Miller will be a special guest for the event, while Veasley himself serves as Artistic Director.

No Treble is proud to announce that our second annual NAMM live edition of Groove – The No Treble Podcast will feature special guest Michael Anthony! The event will be held in front of a live audience at the 2019 Winter NAMM Show on January 25th at 5:00 pm.

Every January, you can feel the ground shake. That’s thanks to the annual Bass Bash, which is returning to Anaheim, California on January 24th and 25th. The two-day event coincides with the Winter NAMM Show and features performances by some of the world’s best bassists.
