The fusion pioneering band Yellowjackets has released “Parallel Motion,” marking the 27th album in their 41 years as a group. The album includes bassist Dane Alderson, who joined the band in 2015.

At long last, King’s X has returned with “Three Sides of One,” which marks the power trio’s first new studio album in fourteen years. dUg Pinnick’s biting tone and soulful vocals are still in perfect form.

Pat Travers has just released a new album called “The Art of Time Travel,” which is a musical throwback to his heyday of the late ’70s. Travers is joined by David Pastorius, who also contributed a beautiful instrumental song to the effort.
