Brian Bromberg has had international success as a bassist, recording albums for labels all over the world. Now he’s reissued five titles cut for Japan’s King Records between 2003 and 2011.

The creative jazz trio of Steve Cardenas, Ted Nash, and Ben Allison have released their third album. “Healing Power – The Music of Carla Bley” presents the music of the influential pianist and composer in their own intimate style.

Neil Young has released another album from his vault. “Toast” was recorded in 2001 with the original Crazy Horse lineup – including bassist Billy Talbot – before cutting 2002’s “Are You Passionate?” with Booker T. And the M.G.’s.

The Tedeschi Trucks Band has unleashed the second installment of their epic “I Am The Moon” series of albums. “I Am The Moon: II. Ascension” continues the sonic journey, which is inspired by a mythic Persian tale of star-crossed lovers.

Bassist Jedd Chlebowski has returned with his second solo release, entitled “All Alone”. The solo effort is a collection of original songs rendered with just his bass, some pedals, and some software.

Bassist Nenad Vasilic has returned with a new live album with his trio. The songs were captured from performances at the Austrian ORF National Radio Studio as well as the National Theater in Vasilic’s hometown of Niš in Serbia.

The Aristocrats create some pretty intricate music with just three people, so it’s only more epic that they’ve teamed up with Primuz Chamber Orchestra to release an album with more fleshed-out versions of their songs.
