Freekbass has announced the second leg of his Funk The World Tour with his band The Bump Assembly, featuring Sammi Garrett. The modern funk outfit will also be welcoming Craig Brodhead on selected dates.

Steve Davis has released “Bluesthetic”, which features a dizzyingly great band. The trombonist is joined by guitarist Peter Bernstein, vibraphonist Steve Nelson, pianist Geoffrey Keezer, drummer Willie Jones III, and bassist Christian McBride.

Michael Schenker Group has returned with a new full-length album entitled “Universal”. The MSG is already anchored by the able hands of Barend Courbois, but “Universal” also features bassists Bob Daisley and Barry Sparks.
