Aside from the mighty Motörhead, the late Lemmy Kilmister used to lay down the low end in a project called Headcat. Now a new incarnation of the project has released their self-titled debut with one of Lemmy’s protégés on bass.

The vault of Jerry Garcia’s back catalog has been opened once again to expand the “GarciaLive Series”. “Volume 14: January 27th, 1986 The Ritz” features the late Grateful Dead singer in a rare duo format alongside his longtime collaborator John Kahn.

Isaias Elpes has returned with a new EP, “Lua”. Elpes weaves a variety of styles and genres that harken back to his musical beginnings, playing bass, guitar, and percussion. His mentor, Abraham Laboriel, also performs on the EP.
