Duran Duran has announced “Future Past”, which will be the rock band’s first studio album in six years. The new record, which will be released in October, has been in the works for several years.

The Black Crowes will finally be getting to celebrating the 30th anniversary of “Shake Your Money Maker”. The band’s reunion tour will see the return of bassist Sven Pipien, who played with the band from 1997 until their hiatus in 2015.

Phish has rescheduled their 2020 tour to this year. In fact, the jam band heroes will have two outings this year with a summer and fall tour. Mike Gordon and the crew will be spending much of the tour with multi-night stays in cities across the U.S.

Dead & Company has unveiled a 2021 U.S. tour that will span the summer and fall. The Grateful Dead legacy band features bass great Oteil Burbridge. Burbridge is heading out on his own tour as well.

Meatshell is an experimental folk-jazz duo made up of bassist/vocalist Helen Svoboda and tenor saxophonist Andrew Saragossi. The group has just released their second album, entitled “Since Subito”.

A new piece of punk rock history is coming to light as Descendents have announced “9th & Walnut”, an album recorded in 2002 by the band’s founding lineup. That includes bassist Tony Lombardo.
