After releasing a debut album earlier this year, bassist and electronic producer NICKO has returned with a second album. While his first record took its cues from video game soundtracks, “CONTEXT I” is his first foray into ambient soundscapes.

At long last, Oteil Burbridge’s new solo album “Lovely View of Heaven” has been released. The record pays tribute to the music of Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter, especially their ballads.

Earlier this year, Mr. Big announced that “The BIG Finish” tour, which will mark their final world tour. The first leg took place this summer in Asia, but now they’ve unveiled a run of U.S. and European dates.

Tool bassist Justin Chancellor has announced he has a new album coming this fall. MTVoid, his duo with Sweet Noise/Serce vocalist Peter Mohamed, will drop their second album, “Matter’s Knot, Pt. 1,” on November 10th.
