The mighty Iron Maiden will be returning to North America for an epic arena tour. The newly announced leg of their Future Past world tour will cover Canada and the U.S. in October and November of 2024.

Geddy Lee has a busy few months coming up. His new memoir, “My Effin’ Life,” is releasing on November 14th, and he’ll be on the road in support of it. Now he’s unveiled a new docuseries called “Geddy Lee Asks: Are Bass Players Human Too?”

Late last year, Blink-182 announced a reunion tour featuring the classic lineup of Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker. Now, the reunion has culminated in “One More Time…,” their first album with DeLonge since 2011’s “Neighborhoods.”

It’s been a tumultuous few years for The Rolling Stones since the passing of drummer Charlie Watts, but they’ve transformed that time into a triumphant new album. Darryl Jones wasn’t available for “Hackney Diamonds,” so the bass was handled by Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, Paul McCartney, and Bill Wyman.

Virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier is gearing up to release his highly anticipated album, “Djesse Vol. 4,” on February 29th and now he’s unveiled a tour in support of it. Collier’s touring band features the formidable Robin Mullarkey on bass.

Duff McKagan has released a new solo studio album called “Lighthouse.” The Guns N’ Roses bassist’s third solo effort features a who’s who of guests from his generation including Slash, Jerry Cantrell, Abe Laboriel Jr., and more.

Nick Oliveri and Mondo Generator have returned with “We Stand Against You,” which marks their seventh studio album. The former Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age bassist calls it their “heaviest and most brutal album to date.”

Les Claypool revived his Fearless Flying Frog Brigade project this year, and now more of his solo work is being brought back to the spotlight. He’s just announced “Adverse Yaw: The Prawn Song Years,” a vinyl box set that compiles five albums from his solo projects.

Tim Lefebvre is such an incredible talent, and one of his superpowers is being able to tastefully support any musical situation. Another example of that superpower is a new album by vocal acrobat Andreas Schaerer and guitarist Kalle Kalima.

The mighty Gov’t Mule formed in 1994, and they’re celebrating their three decades as a band next year with a tour. The first leg of the “30 Years Strong” tour will see Warren Haynes, Matt Abts, Danny Louis, and Kevin Scott covering the West Coast and Southwest.

Hot off of their performance at the Power Trip Festival, Tool has announced a new set of tour dates. While the group is still supporting 2019’s “Fear Inoculum,” bassist Justin Chancellor has revealed that the group is working on new music.

Back in 2020, Carrtoons (aka bassist/producer Ben Carr) released “Saturday Morning.” He followed that up with “Homegrown” in 2022, and now he’s come full circle with a new album called “Saturday Night.”
