No Treble reader Omer Al-Katib (aka Omer Plays Bass) sent us this video, which is in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the release of “Toto IV”. In this clip, Omer plays along to “Africa” with his Dingwall Combustion 5.

I’ve really been enjoying Khruangbin’s “Texas Moon” album with Leon Bridges, so I went down the path of watching many of their videos. Here’s a great one from their performance at Austin City Limits last year.

I recently discovered the music of Johannes Fend, and I was glad I did. Here’s a live performance he recorded in Pelgrimvaderskerk, Rotterdam. This song, “Pierce the Sky”, is from his new album, “Journey”. Beautiful music.

Years ago we shared a video by Zander Zon performing his bass arrangement of Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven”. He’s back with an all-new version, using a fretless (and fretted) bass and taking things to a whole new level.

Ever since Vuyani shared a video by Giane Rangel with me, I was hooked. In this video, Giane plays keyboard bass and bass along to Israel Houghton’s “Risen”.

It is always great to see a new video by Remco Hendriks. He just shared this one saying, “Funky good times on my fretless Cortex bass with some fun spacey grooves with delay, double stops, slides and other cool things you can do with a fretless”.

Charles Berthoud is back with a new “Hardest Song in the World” video, with him running through many different bass techniques on Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September”.

Here’s the video featuring the final tune from The Fearless Flyers’ third album. “Vespa” alternatively grooves and rocks hard, with Cory Wong and Mark Lettieri on guitar, Joe Dart on bass, and Nate Smith on drums.

I’ve always loved KEXP for musical discovery. Their latest video was another new one for me, with the band Bonobo. Bassist/keyboardist Simon Green and the rest of the band create such a rich texture of sound.

Fernando Rosa performed at Jazz Cafe in London last month. Here’s a clip from the show with him laying it down on Earth Wind & Fire’s “In The Stone” and Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough”.

Cory Wong’s Cory and The Wongnotes series is in its second season, and they just released an awesome (and hilarious) video. “The Great British Bass Off” features Cory, Sonny T, and Annie in a bake-off-inspired competition.
