No Treble reader Eduardo Kusdra sent us this video he did a few years ago, and we were glad he did. Eduardo took The Beatles’ “Martha My Dear” and turned it into an incredible all-bass arrangement. I love the fretless work on this.

Tedeschi Trucks Band streamed a concert last night for The Fireside Sessions, and this one was a bit different. The band “re-interpreting a setlist of favorites as a quartet,” which includes Brandon Boone on bass.

There is no denying that Brian Bromberg is an absolute monster. Definitely one of my biggest influences! In this clip, Brian is at Bass Player Live in ’08, talking about his triplet technique and performing his classic tune “Bass Face.”

Yesterday was definitely a special day. I ran across this classic clip of the masterful Melvin Lee Davis with Chaka Khan covering “My Funny Valentine” last night. Melvin plays a beautiful solo on a Ken Smith 7 String!
