Fleabass Street BassThe Fleabass line will be expanding with the coming of the Street Bass model, due to ship in late July. The Street Bass is an even more affordable version of the already available Touring Bass, which Flea himself is using to tour and write the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album with.

The Street model varies from the Touring Bass by featuring a basswood body instead of alder, and the pick guard is made of PVC. It won’t include the same accessories as the Touring Bass package, though it does keep the same pickups and fingerboard as its predecessor, as well as the same design.

The Fleabass Street Bass is set to have a suggested retail price of $299, and will be available later next month. Visit the Fleabass website for more details.
