Bass of the Week: Mayones Prestige Classic
This week we check out the Mayones Prestige Classic, a bass the company calls “a tempting luxurious instrument for connoisseurs with clear yet rich tone of modern Nordstrand Fat Stack pickups.”

The bass, which comes in 4-, 5-, and 6-string versions, features neck-thru construction with several layers of wood. The body wings have an ash back topped by spalted maple with a layer of wenge in between, while the five-piece neck made of wenge and padouk. Its ebony fretboard is fitted with 24 medium jumbo frets.
The Nordstrand pickups are matched to an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp that can toggle between active and passive operation. Hardware includes Schaller M4 tuners and a Mayones X2 series bridge.

Beautiful work of art for a bass guitar..
I agree with you, but I prefer the Marleaux ones.
Polish guitar builders are known for high quality craftsmanship, and Mayones together with Maruszczyk are definitely some of the most popular ones out there.
