Death From Above 1979 has dropped their fourth studio album, entitled “Is 4 Lovers”. The duo of bassist Jesse F. Keeler and drummer Sebastien Grainger widened their palette for the record, which they say is more “fun” than 2017’s “Outrage! Is Now”.

Our good friend Magnus Sjöquist recently shared a new video with a tune he wrote for an upcoming EP. “Tranquility” was written specifically for his Kala Solid Body Ubass, and features Mikael Lindström on bassoon. The combo is fantastic.

In February 2020, The Aristocrats were 100 shows deep into a tour. The trio was playing some of their best shows ever before the pandemic brought the world to a halt. That pre-pandemic period will be featured on their next live album, “FREEZE!”

Michael Kelly has expanded its electric bass lineup with the Pinnacle 4-string and 5-string basses. Each of the models are built with a swamp ash body topped with burled poplar in a natural finish.
