Phil Jones Bass Announces the X2C Dual Compressor/Effects Loop Pedal

Phil Jones Bass X2C Dual Compressor:Effects Loop PedalPhil Jones Bass has introduced the X2C, a dual compressor and effects loop pedal designed to optimize your tone. The pedal’s dual crossover features divide your signal into frequency bands ranging from 100Hz to 500Hz to ensure clarity and dynamics, the company shared.

“PJB’s dual compressor enables the player to shape specific frequency ranges of an audio signal, which allows for compressing the low frequencies while preserving the high frequencies, or vice-versa,” the company explains. “Treating the low-end with a dedicated band also allows for heavy compression without affecting the midrange frequencies, which carry the attack of the sound.”

Each band has an insert jack, allowing players to use various effects pedals for certain frequency bands or for a 2-way bass rig. Each band has a Ratio, Release, Attack, and Threshold knobs. Additionally, the X2C has controls to set the crossover frequency, the lo/hi mix, and the amount of dry and wet signal mix.

The Phil Jones Bass X2C has a street price of $359.99.
