Vega plays two beautiful solo bass versions of the carols “Silent Night” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” on his Ribbecke bass and his 1966 Fender Jazz, affectionately named “Gumby.”

Giorgio Terenziani’s Bass Orchestra: Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic
Giorgio Terenziani knocked us out with his “bass orchestra” arrangement of The Police tune, “Everything She Does Is Magic”. Giorgio performs this using five basses: three standard and two micro basses. He says he usually plays this during clinics with a loop station, but decided to layer all the different sections together for this video. Pretty amazing.
Jean Baudin: Dhalsim
Jean Baudin has released his first official music video for the song “Dhalsim” from his new album, Mechanisms. This performance of the song, which is based on the Street Fighter 2 character, was recorded live at the 2013 California Extreme Arcade show. Baudin uses his 11-string bass and extensive pedalboard to get some awesome sounds and textures.
