Ashdown Engineering introduced an interesting new bass cabinet called the CL-310-DH. Rated at 450 watts at 8 ohms, the cabs were inspired by vintage British PA systems and feature a 3×10" configuration with dual high-frequency horns.

Darkglass Electronics took to the Winter NAMM Show to unveil two new products in their line of bass amplifiers: The Alpha-Omega 900 and the Microtubes 900 v2. While the latter upgrades an existing model, the Alpha-Omega 900 is a brand new amp that pairs elements of their Alpha-Omega distortion preamplifier with a 900-watt power section.

Taurus has expanded their lineup of bass amps with the Vandall-500, a 500-watt RMS head with dual inputs and both solid state and tube preamps.

Mesa/Boogie has expanded on their Subway series of bass amplification with the Subway WD-800 head, three new cabinets, and the new Subway+ DI preamp pedal. The products are built in their Petaluma, California shop. The WD-800 is an 800-watt head that brings together a two-stage tube preamp with a powerful class-D power section.

Schroeder Cabinets has expanded their lineup of bass cabs with the 12.6PL, which is fitted with a 12-inch custom B&C subwoofer as well as a 6-inch driver for mids and an adjustable bullet tweeter.

Peavey Electronics has announced the MAX series of bass combo amps with four new models: the MAX 100, the MAX 150, the MAX 250, and the MAX 208. Each of the cabs features an angled baffle design that aims the woofer up towards your ears.

Phil Jones Bass has expanded their line of Headphone Amplifiers with the Bighead Pro. The second model in the series, dubbed the HA-2, is a high-resolution USB audio interface that supports PCM playback with up to 384 kHz sample rate/24 bit resolution.
